Where do they live?
These eagles live mostly in the mountains of Scotland. They build large nests on cliffs and use them for many years. Golden eagles like open spaces where they can fly high and look for food.
What do golden eagles eat?
Golden eagles eat animals like rabbits, hares, and birds called grouse. Sometimes, they eat animals that are already dead. They are strong hunters and can spot their prey from far away.
How are people helping them?
A long time ago, people hunted golden eagles, and they disappeared from many places in the UK. Now people are helping them come back by protecting them and their homes.
